Memory Cafe

May 08, 2019 – 11:30 am to 1:00 pm

Somma Pizza 380 Route 909 Verona, PA 15147

Mingle at our Memory Cafe!

What is a Memory Café? In 1997, Dutch pyschiatrist Bere Miesen introduced the idea of a place were those living with dementia and their caregiers can mingle in a comfortable and fun environment — a Memory Café! This concept successfully made its way to the U.S. in 2008.

Who can attend a Memory Café? EVERYONE! Caregivers are invited to bring their loved one living with dementia to relax and grab a bite to eat together in a casual, supportive environment. The group is held in a private room, and full of conversation, fun and meaningful connections. And, of course, laughter and camaraderie are always on the menu!

The Memory Café is free and held exclusively for people living with dementia and their caregivers to attend together! No RSVP required. Snacks provided! Just pop on in! Questions? Please call 877-851-1440.

2019 Pittsburgh Walk for a Healthy Community

May 11, 2019 – 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

Stage AE, North Shore, Pittsburgh

We’re walking for our residents! Presbyterian SeniorCare Network is a participating organization in the Walk for a Healthy Community, an annual fundraiser underwritten by Highmark. That means that we receive 100% of the funds we raise. We are walking to raise funds for lifestyle engagement programming at each of our campuses and senior supportive housing communities.

REGISTER NOW!

You may register as an individual, create a team or join a team. Once registered, you can create your own fundraising webpage and share it with family, friends and co-workers encouraging them to donate to the Walk fundraising efforts!

CAN'T WALK? DONATE!

Even if you are unable to walk, you may still support Presbyterian SeniorCare Network by donating to the Walk! Thank you for your generosity!

REMEMBER...

We are all in this together! No matter how you are able to support us - whether that be through a personal donation, by walking or by creating a team to raise funds, every bit helps!

Each donation helps us to raise funds for lifestyle engagement programming at each of our campuses and in supportive housing. This means that you allow us to provide supplies, funds for trips, onsite entertainment, computer software and so much more to enrich the lives of our residents.
